And honestly, I was petri ed.
How would I now pay the bills? How would I
pay the mortgage?
I took on some work in a local Spar store but it
became clear that the salary I'd earn there was
nowhere near enough for us to make ends
meet.
That's when I got into 'the horses'.
I mean I was desperate and gambling seemed
like a possible solution to my issues.
